On tour to support their latest effort "New Tattoo.", Motley Crue is bringing back the essentials for a real rock and roll show.

| Playing Alpine Valley on August 18 it was a spectacular straight-ahead rock show. With not many dates left of the Maximum Rock tour with support act Megadeth, the boys in the Crue were in top form. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Although Randy Castillo couldn't make the tour, due to an illness, he will return for the second leg of the tour. |

| Samantha Maloney of Hole did a wonderful job hitting the skins. They played fan favorites such as "Kick Start My Heart". "Home Sweet Home", "Shout at The Devil", and "Girls, Girls, Girls" plus tracks off the new album "Hell on High Heels", "Punched In The Teeth By Love", and "Treat Me Like The Dog I Am" among others. |

At one point, bassist Nikki Sixx asked the audience what they wanted to hear, "Something old or REAL old." Seems the Crue has all but forgotten about their less than accepted Generation Swine album. They haven't played anything from that one on the last two tours. The fan turnout has been great and no one seems to mind the fact that Tommy Lee is no longer with the band. With more dates of sleaze, the bad boys of rock will be sure to entertain you.
