Throwback Suburbia are a power pop outfit that's been noted as one of, if not the finest the northwest has to offer. This is an act gaining global attention, as well. The quality these guys record and perform at is second to none. And on this night they clearly had a blast doing what they do best, and that's pleasing a crowd, and very pleased we were. Every member of this band is a remarkably charismatic professional with individually applied excellence to bring their well crafted songs and showstopping performances to life.

This was an all out killer show. They were all in fine form that night, with everyone putting on a massively energetic but at the same time relaxed and poised set, like only they can do. I was particularly impressed with each and every one of them, and the keyboardist was no exception. There was no getting away from any of them, as drummer Mike Collins and company proceeded to tear the house down.

If only more acts like this were around, who knows how the music scene would play out, but there seems to be quite a shortage of this quality lately. They blazed through a hot set that featured all of their best material to date. One of the highlights of the night was certainly when they teamed up with the opener Kyle Vincent for a feelgood rocking run through the Elton John classic “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting.” This was so much fun that it was amazing to witness and participate in the action down front. Talk about killer, if you haven't seen Throwback Suburbia or Kyle Vincent for that matter, the suggestion is to run, not walk to your nearest opportunity to do so. They're both first class acts who know how to rock a crowd with the best of them, and rock your world they will. How fun this show was!
