Yes

Live on Cruise to the Edge, November 2015

Review by Brenda Bradley

I knew it would be hard to see Yes without Chris Squire! As "Onward" played, with a white Rickenbacker on stage with a spotlight, I felt myself tearing up. The friend next to me handed me a tissue. Chris has always been my favorite musician since 73.

Yes played the tightest I've heard in the past few years at this show, with the vibe of Yes fanantics throughout , signing and dancing along. After “Onward” they went straight into “Firebird Suite” and “Siberian Khatru.” The new song “Believe Again: was next. Songs that were played that I hadn't heard for a few years were “Going for the one,” “White Car,” “Nine Voices” and “Don't kill the Whale!” Steve Howe was in top form, and I loved seeing his jam on “Don’t Kill the Whale!” Billy Sherwood did excellent filling the shoes of the late great Chris Squire!
