Würzel (Michael Burston) was the leader of this band. They were working on this album when he died in 2011.

Take a hard rock sound of bands like Kiss and Nazareth and then bring more pure metal to the mix. That gets you close to what you can expect here.

This might not be an obvious choice, but for me 1916 is one of the better Motorhead albums.

This is a reissue of the 1992 album.
