Live In Philadelphia 1979 DVD

Review by Gary Hill

This DVD really seems to be an official release of a bootleg video. For one thing the audio is in mono, rather than stereo. Add to that the fact that the long shots are out of focus. However, the intro seems fairly professional. Also the close up shots are definitely in focus. There is a glitched section on the soundtrack also. Add to this the fact that video is fairly short, less than an hour long. However, it is from the Ten True Summers tour, a tour that is not well documented. It also shows an "in the round tour" and includes the rarity "Circus of Heaven". Another point of interest is a "Starship Trooper" that includes a Wakeman wandering the stage with a keytar dueling with Howe and Squire. So, for the hard-core Yes collector, this one is probably a must have. Casual fans beware, though.
