Various Artists The Drum Pad's 20th Anniversary Show Review by Gary Hill Drummers and drum fans unite and purchase this DVD! It features a number of world class drummers and you just don't get any better than this if your musical passion is geared towards percussion. I've included this in the progressive rock section of MSJ because artists like Terry Bozzio and Mike Portnoy are both featured here - and they are prog musicians. This is a massive double DVD set that gives all these artists room to show what makes them great. The other drummers included here are Jimmy Chamberlain, Chad Wackerman, Jeff Hamilton, Steve Smith, Mike Mangini and Zakir Hussain. If you are a drum person you really need to get this one. I'm sure drummers will learn a lot from watching these masters practice their craft. The rest of us will probably find ourselves sitting with our mouths open a lot of the time.
