Decapitated

Human’s Dust DVD

Review by Gary Hill

This DVD shows Polish band Decapitated pounding out their brand of technical death metal in live concert. Since the material on this disc was filmed the band was involved in a terrible accident that left their drummer dead. In a way that makes this live document all the more important.

What amazes me about this footage – besides the incredible technical skill of these musicians, is the quality of the video. I’m used to these extreme metal vids having poor quality (mostly due to bad lighting). That’s definitely not the case here. The video and audio on the main portion of this DVD are impeccable. They are right up there with the biggest name acts.

If you haven’t heard Decapitated and like your metal extreme, you just need to check these guys out. They are incredible. If you have heard them, I’m sure you know what I mean. In addition to the main concert (from 2002) we get live footage from a couple other shows and interviews. All of it works together to make this a great package.
