You can say what you like about John Denver, yes he was very much a “nice guy” kind of artist, but his music was good. He was one of the most popular musicians of the 20^th Century and when his music is playing you can’t help but tap your toes and get a smile on your face. This 1981 concert film captures that sound in a great live performance that features his biggest hits. It’s not to current video and audio standards, but it’s still very good. It’s a nice way to remember a musician who was taken from us too soon.
