Various Artists Metal Retardation: Are You Metally Retarded? DVD Review by Gary Hill This is a collection of video clips and interview clips. It is bizarre, but also cool. The guy who did this (Bill Zabub) asks the most unbelievably odd questions of the artists he interviews. For instance, “how many knuckles are there in a knuckle sandwich?” You can’t really take this thing seriously, but it’s a lot of fun and gives you some different insights into a whole bunch of metal artists. Just watching the reactions they have to some of this insanity is worth the price of admission. I’d have to say that each of these artists (like King Diamond, Candlemass, Venom) get some serious points for being such good sports.
