Cactus

Live, Loud & Proud DVD

Review by Gary Hill

Cactus might not have gotten the attention that groups like Led Zeppelin and Cream did, but they were an extremely capable band cut from that same cloth of hard rocking, blues based classic jams. Well, this DVD is an excellent collection of footage from the Cactus reunion shows. The band is still in fine form and showing that they can rock with the best of them. I’d highly recommend this to fans of Cactus, cut also to those who have never heard the band but thrive on the 1970s style of hard rock merged with blues. These guys were and are great!
