Eagles of Death Metal

I Love You All The Time: Live at The Olympia in Paris DVD

Review by Gary Hill

As you may recall, when Eagles of Death Metal played in Paris in 2015, the venue became the target of a terrorist attack. Well, the band came back to Paris later to perform to serve as a tribute and a make-up for that show. This DVD captures that historic concert.

You might imagine that the video and audio quality would be good. You would be right. Based on the band's name, I always figured these guys were a death metal band. That's not true, though. Their sound is sort of a mix of punk rock and straight rock and roll. They put on a great show, and this DVD is an excellent document of a concert that was far more than a concert. It was a triumphant statement of survival and moving forward despite adversity.
