Hard Life To Live This short cut has a hard-edged, slightly dark approach. It feels a lot like the Runaways, but definitely suffers a lot from the production quality. |
Answers Another that shows off Runaways leanings, this one also feels a bit like pre-Heart of Glass era Blondie. It's a shame about the recording quality on this one because the song is incredibly cool. |
Maybe This one comes across more garagey in texture. It has a lot of touches of the 50's inspired punk of bands like The Ramones. |
Santa Monica Boulevard Boy This is another punky cut that has the strong 50's leanings especially on the intro. This is raw, fast and fun. |
Strange Ways This one starts with percussion. At just over 4 minutes in length it is the longest track on the disc. It is a slower number, and the highlight of the CD, both in terms of its cool arrangement and the best sound quality. I would love to hear the band produce more like this. |
