Rick Wakeman
In the Nick of Time: Live in 2003 (Remastered Edition)
Review by Gary Hill
This is a brand new “Remastered Edition” of this live Rick Wakeman album. It sounds great, superior to the previous version – and that one sounded great. I’ve reviewed the earlier version of the disc and since the music is precisely the same, that hasn’t changed. Suffice it to say this is like that one, but better. My original review follows here for the sake of consistency.
This live album from Rick Wakeman is a powerful disc. It seems like it might not be a full concert, though. Still, we get a wide range of music here, finding Wakeman in the progressive rock bombast period more than anything else. It’s a great addition to his catalog.
