This is the second single from this artist that I've heard. While I think I prefer the first one, this is clearly strong, too. It has an intriguing blend of modern sounds with classic old-school jazz and soul.
Twisted The arrangement on this cut is dense. While it's quite rhythmic in nature, there is plenty of melody to it. The male vocal bit at the end seems a bit tongue-in-cheek. Well, as over the top as it is, and given that there is a humorous little bit that creates the image that it wasn't up to par, I have to believe that it's tongue-in-cheek. As such, it's a playful way to end this in style. There are some overly processed vocal bits that I find annoying, but they are really a minor part of the piece.
