Amaris
Neon Colors
Review by Gary Hill
There was a time when music was delivered in the form of singles. The whole album concept is relatively new, emerging in the late 1960s. There is definitely a movement back toward that single-based mentality in the modern age. This set seems to be a fine example of that. There are a number of tracks here that tend to work better as singles than as part of a full album. If you like modern R&B based electronic styled pop music, you will find something to like here. It does have a bit of a tendency toward "samey" when you listen to the whole disc.
