Claudia Norris Nashville Songwriting Sessions Review by Gary Hill I reviewed another set from this artist in the past. This new release finds her continuing her musical adventures with five tracks that fit within the general heading of "pop rock" music. There is some range within that label, from mellow ballads to folk based music, energetic pop and more. It's all delivered with style and a charm that is distinctly Claudia Norris. Track by Track Review

Say Yes After a count-in, this song works out to a modern pop meets folk music kind of vibe. The cut is bouncy, fun and catchy.

Stranger Piano starts things here. The voice comes in over the top, and the arrangement turns toward an evocative ballad style. It builds out to more rocking territory as it continues, more like the pop rock version of a power ballad.

Heartbeat Another bouncy pop rock styled piece, there are some hints of jazz on the vocals on the introduction. There are also some hints of 50s music built into this. It's another that's a lot of fun.

Stay More in the folk vein, this is another solid tune. It's not quite a ballad, but it doesn't have the pop energy of the number that preceded it. Still, it is catchy and rather powerful.

Love on Replay With a lot of keyboard basis to it, this has a lot more of a modern pop music element to it. There is a soulful edge to the cut. It's another fun piece.
