jefff R U Hip 2 the Revolution (digital single) Review by Gary Hill
The mix of sounds on this tune is intriguing. It has a lot of old school texture, but also modern edges. This is fresh and timeless at the same time.

R U Hip 2 the Revolution
There is a real classic rock groove to this piece. The I love the guitar fills on the number. The whole piece has a "protest music" vibe to it. As much as this piece is rooted in the past, that gets altered when it works out to a real rap movement later. Whatever you call this, it has a hopeful vibe and is an effective number. The tune seems like its winding down to end, but then organ rises up to create the basis of the closing instrumental section.
