Bushwick Blooze Band

Waiting (digital single)

Review by Gary Hill

This is the second single from Bushwick Blooze Band that I've reviewed. The classic sounds on this instrumental are so strong. It's another great tune.

This review is available in book (paperback and hardcover) form in Music Street Journal: 2020  Volume 6. More information and purchase links can be found at:

Track by Track Review

A cool guitar riff brings this in with a real 1970s rock sound. The cut works out from there with more of a blues rock thing coming into the mix. There are some killer guitar tones built into this number. There is a riff built into the backdrop of this that that makes me think of the main riff from "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones. They take this in completely different directions, though. There is some killer guitar soloing over the top, too. This is a powerhouse instrumental blues rocker.
