Wyatt Edmondson If I Don't Try Review by Gary Hill There is a modern angle to the sound of this set. Yet it's also rooted in classic rock. Don't expect any kind Earth shattering originality or uniqueness here. Do expect well-crafted tunes that vary from one to the next and are tastefully catchy. Also expect good performances. If I Don't Try There is a real alternative pop rock vibe to this cut. It's energetic and catchy. The arrangement has a lot of classic rock trappings from organ to cool guitar solo. The horns bring something special to the number, too.

Amber A slower moving, balladic tune, there are some real jazzy concepts here. This also has that modern pop music texture at play.

Room for Two Here is a bluesy rocking tune. This is a nice change and a lot of fun. I dig the piano work, and the guitar seriously rocks. There is some country honky tonk vibe here, too.

You Said It, I Meant It Another with the modern pop music on the menu, this is more along the lines of adult contemporary music. It's a strong tune that's quite catchy.

Lovers Lake A more rocking tune, this has both acoustic and electric guitar. Harmonica is a nice touch. There is an edgy roots element in the mix on this number. It's another classy tune and a different flavor.
