Ambulance Song Driving hard rock is on the menu here. This has a bit of a punky edge, but it's more along the lines of pure singer songwriter hard-edged rock and roll. It's accessible and classy. |
Bodega Flowers While not a big change, this is a bit less fierce than the previous tune was. It's a solid rocker, though. |
Astroland A little more of a melodic rocker, this has some solid hooks and plenty of classic rock vibes. There are still some hints of punk in the mix, though. |
Avenue A is Dead As strong as everything else has been, this really ups the ante. This has a punky angle. It makes me think of D.O.A. to some degree. It's a killer rocker. |
Hush Money There are some hints of country on the vocals here at times. This has a mainstream pop rock vibe beyond that. It's got a hard rocking edge to it, too. The guitar solo makes me think of something like Georgia Satellites. |
Don't Wanna be Right A mellower, more balladic tune, this has some more of that country angle at play. It gets more rocking at times, classifying this as a power ballad, though. |
Black Eyed Susan I like the hard rocking grind on this tune a lot. It still manages to be a melodic, accessible pop rocker that has some more melodic sections. |
Wednesday Punky and pop rock based, there is a definite old-school rock and roll vibe to this tune. The saxophone is a nice touch. |
My Stash A punky edge is merged with some vaguely Southern angled rock. This has great hooks and riffing. It's a lot of fun. I'd consider it one of the highlights of the set. |
There Goes the Band A mainstream pop rocking tune, this has some cool saxophone work and a generally tasty arrangement. It also has a very classic sound. |
Dead Again More driving and a little punky, this rocker is all class. It has some old-school rock and roll in the mix, too. |
