Marianne Faithfull

Dreaming My Dreams DVD

Review by Gary Hill

So, you’ve probably heard the name “Marianne Faithfull.” You may have even heard a song or two. Do you know her story, though? Well, this documentary serves as a great glimpse into a complex life and intriguing musical vision. It’s actually a very strong piece of work that will go a long way to introducing you to the real Marianne Faithful, blemishes and all. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a burning interest in the lives of musicians and the history of rock music. It gives you a solid slice of both. As a bonus we also get some great concert footage.
