Ian Anderson - Plays the Orchestral Jethro Tull DVD

I find that often when groups play with orchestras the result is somewhat disappointing. Often the orchestra simply serves as icing on the cake and the power of the music is tempered in trying to lend room to the new found instruments in the arrangement.

This starts with a future person, looking like a borg introducing the situation and setting the scene in a theatrical way. The music powers out after this extended introduction, powerful and rocking for the prologue.
