Jason Aldean

Wide Open Live and More DVD

Review by Gary Hill

This DVD captures Jason Aldean and his band on the live stage. Aldean’s brand of country seems to combine both old school varieties of the genre with the more modern sound. He’s got a lot of old country twang, but there’s a lot of music here that really could feel quite at home as rock music. Of course, these days The Eagles are country – so who knows. In any event, you get a well produced video that showcases this up and coming artist. The guy’s talented. He and his band rip through some killer country music. It’s all captured with great video and great sound. There is an interview for some additional highlight. All in all, this is a product that will please Aldean’s fans. It would also be a good first glance if you enjoy modern country music.
