 Pearl Jam
 Under Review DVD
 Review by Gary Hill

Pearl Jam is another act that I like a lot, but haven’t gotten covered at MSJ to this point. So, I was glad to get this DVD (albeit an unapproved or unofficial release) to get them into the old MSJ database. Many times the DVDs in this “Under Review” series offer an intriguing analysis into a band and its art. In this case, the documentary is more of a retrospective story – kind of a biography. That said, it really does contain a lot of great archival footage. For the more casual Pearl Jam fans like myself, it’s very educational and interesting. Those with a more in-depth knowledge of the group might already know pretty much everything here. I don’t know that for sure, but I’d bet there’s a good chance of it. All in all, though, this is quite a good documentary on an exceptional band.
