Kasabian

Live at the 02 BluRay

Review by Gary Hill

Why is this band so obscure? At least they are in the US. I’d never heard them before. Their particular blend of hard rock is killer. These guys deserve to be seen in the states. This was a huge festival show and these guys managed to entertain. Their sound is modern, but it has a lot of things like Hawkwind and Pink Floyd built into it. They are hard rocking, but turn it acoustic and melodic quite well, too. All in all, this is a band not to miss and this looks like it might be one of their best performances. The video and audio quality here are both top notch and this comes highly recommended. If you like great hard rock, you should pick this up whether you’ve heard of these guys or not. You’ll be convinced. Fans probably don’t need to be told to get this.
