The Rolling Stones
Under Review 1975-1983: The Ronnie Wood Years Part 1 DVD
Review by Gary Hill
It is clear from this documentary that the first years with Ronnie Wood were inconsistent and there was a lot of trouble in the Rolling Stones camp. The thing is, albums like Some Girls and Tattoo You are among my favorite Stones albums, so it means they were doing something right. I really like this documentary a lot. It’s a bit on the long side, but considering we’re in the midst of the 50th Anniversary of the Stones, the timing is perfect.
