Salad Days: A Decade Of Punk In Washington, DC (1980-90) DVD

Review by Gary Hill

The Washington, DC punk scene was really a big deal. Bands like Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Government Issue and Fugazi came out of the scene. And, those are just the big names. This documentary is great. It uses interviews, live footage and much more to tell the story. I’ve seen quite a few of these punk scene documentaries, but this might be the best of the bunch. I’d highly recommend it to any fan of the scene or just punk rock in general. This is one of the best rock documentaries of any kind that I’ve seen in a while.
