Eric Clapton

Slowhand at 70 - Live at The Royal Albert Hall DVD/CD set

Review by Gary Hill

This set was filmed during Eric Clapton’s 70th birthday tour. Add in the fact that it was filmed at the historic Royal Albert Hall, and you have to love the concept. The concert itself features a wide range of music from Clapton’s career. The performances are stunning, and his band is great. The video and audio are also top notch. This set includes both the DVD and a double CD set of all the music. It makes for an exceptional package, capturing an exceptional show. I really like this a lot.
