Dave Stewart and Spiritual Beggars

Live at Rock Palast DVD

Review by Gary Hill

It's a safe bet that a lot of people only know about Dave Stewart from his time as one half of the Eurythmics. Don't expect this to sound like that. What you get here is a great rock and roll show. It has a lot of raw, visceral sound built into the musical DNA. Yet, they still manage to get artsy and have some solid 80s elements in place. The audio and video are both quite good. This set includes both the DVD and audio CD set of the show.
