This new DVD/CD set includes both the video disc and a double disc audio CD of the show. When you turn anything with George Thorogood on to play, you know what you are going to get.Thorogood is a throwback to old school rock and roll and blues. The majority of the songs in this show are covers of artists from Elmore James to John Lee Hooker and Chuck Berry. In fact, there is only one original tune. You don't show up to a Thorogood concert to admire his song-writing skill, though. Thorogood is the master of the slide guitar, and he gets plenty of chances to show that off in this concert. The sound and video are both pretty good here. The vocals are a bit lost in the mix at the start of the show, but that's corrected quickly. Other than the accompanying CD set, the only bonus is a trailer for the show. Still, this is well worth having if you dig Thorogood's style of rock and roll.
