Al Green

Gospel According To Al Green DVD

Review by Gary Hill

Al Green got his start as a soul singer. He had quite a career of it, too. Then he switched to preaching. This documentary is composed mostly of Green talking about his life, his music and his career. There are performance clips peppered throughout. If you are a fan of Al Green's music, or if you just want a glimpse into an interesting life of a man driven by art and then his faith, check this out. It's a solid documentary. It's also an intriguing view into Green's life.
