David Cassidy

I Think I Love You: Greatest Hits Live DVD

Review by Gary Hill

The extended instrumental introduction here includes everything from disco to Led Zeppelin, all delivered before David Cassidy hits the stage. This concert is from 2002. Cassidy and band launch through quite an interesting set of tunes that even includes the old Deep Purple classic “Hush.” They really rock and entertain at times. I never gave Cassidy the credit he deserved. The man could sing, although there is a bit of a lounge lizard thing going on here. He also wasn’t bad on guitar. They do everything from Partridge Family songs to the Beatles to Barry Manilow and more. The video and audio quality here are both quite good. They include a CD of the show along with the DVD. This should be a release that will please Cassidy’s fans. It also includes a behind the scenes documentary along with a photo gallery.
