Live At Rockpalast 2015 DVD

Review by Gary Hill

I have to admit that I never heard this band before checking out this video. I'm glad I've gotten a chance to hear them. Their sound is rooted in the hard rocking blues based rock of the 1970s. As retro as that is, they somehow bring a freshness to it. This live concert recording is purely on fire. Since it was recorded for television, the video and audio are both high quality, as you'd expect. This set includes a DVD of the show along with two audio CDs of the music. The DVD includes some bonuses in the form of a couple acoustic tracks and a couple interviews. If you like bands like Cream, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin you will probably like these guys. They carry on the traditions of those acts while also bringing their own flavors. I can't imagine a better introduction to the band than this.
