Lady Antebellum

Live on this Winter’s Night BluRay

Review by Gary Hill

I think our household now has a new holiday classic that we’ll be adding to the mandatory December viewing list. This thing is just about a perfect holiday concert. You don’t have to be a Lady Antebellum fan to appreciate it. You don’t have to be a country music fan to appreciate it. I mean, Lady Antebellum are very talented with excellent harmony vocals. Their usual musical style is country music that lands toward the pop end of the spectrum with some rock in the mix. This, though is different. Sure, the vocal harmonies are all here, but it’s more of a pure holiday arrangement, complete with orchestra. The stage is done up with holiday ornamentation that could be considered over the top, but I think just works. This is a classy show and the video and audio are equally high in caliber and quality. I can’t recommend this highly enough. If you enjoy Christmas music, you really should get this. It will not disappoint.
