The Evil Stands High (digital single)

Review by Gary Hill
This act is described as a mariachi band. I don't think you can hear that at all in this song. Sure, it has horns. There are some small hints of Latin sound in some of the melodies. Beyond that, though, this is a powerhouse alternative rocker that just oozes cool. I am absolutely in love with this cut and hope to hear more from this act.

The Evil Stands High

I love the mix of hard rock (nearly metallic) with horns as this powers into being. It drops way down for the vocal performance feeling very much like alternative rock with a dark metal element. This is a powerhouse tune that's so cool. It has such a great mix of sounds.
