It won’t be too long before Uriah Heep celebrates its 50th year in the music business. That in itself is astounding, but what is even more astounding is that they are doing some of their best and most energetic work at this stage of the game.
This is Heep’s second album outing, building on the success of their debut Very ‘eavy, very ‘umble, and starting to plough some refreshingly different furrows in their quest for new musical territory.

Uriah Heep is one of those bands that have had many eras due to their longevity.While you may like some versions better than others, there is a quality throughout their 50-plus-year career.
It has been a while since I saw Uriah Heep on stage and (after seeing them recently in Dallas), I can firmly say that are still one of the most exciting live acts around.
