Lee Kerslake was an important figure in hard rock and heavy metal, even if he wasn't a household name. This documentary looked at the last years of his life, the victories, the disappointments and how he rolled with them all. While the specter of his oncoming demise loomed over the entire film, he managed to make the best of the time he had. He actually seemed to finally get some of the more wider acclaim that should have been afforded to him. From his time at the beginning of Uriah Heep to working with Ozzy Osbourne on the first two albums, and the fallout and redemption from that, it's all captured here. There is a sadness about it, but there is also a lot of joy. It's a ride that makes you feel like part of the man's journey and helps to shed light on his importance to the world of music. I heartily recommend this documentary. It's a worthy tribute to Kerslake and his legacy.
