Eminem

The Complete History DVD

Review by Gary Hill

Eminem is certainly embroiled in controversy and image, but who is Marshall Mathers? This documentary chronicles the story of Mathers the man from childhood to the present. Thorough the use of interview with many from his past, and short clips of question and answers with the artist himself a new vision of Eminem is revealed. That Marshall Mathers that comes to the fore in this documentary is a human, feeling and incredibly talented man. This documentary will give you a whole new perspective. Fans of Eminem should enjoy it, but frankly, those who don't get him might find that they can gain a new understanding and appreciation for Mathers and his music. There aren't a lot of bonuses here except a discography and a small photo gallery.
