The Everly Brothers

Reunion Concert: Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD

Review by Gary Hill

How you feel about this release will depend at least in part if you already own it or not. The concert video itself has been released before. This has a 45 minute documentary added to the set to fill things out a bit. So, if you don’t already own the concert, this is the one to get. Since the pricing is set for value, it might be worth upgrading, anyway.

This literally is a document of the Everly Brothers reunion after ten years. It showcased the duo performing their best songs in a love show that was really an event. For that reason, the aforementioned criteria aside, if you’ve ever been a fan of The Everly Brothers, you should own this.

This review is available in book format (hardcover and paperback) in Music Street Journal: 2010  Volume 6 at lulu.com/strangesound.
