Recorded in 1981, this DVD captures a smoking hot live show from Michael Schenker Group.

Michael Schenker and UFO have always shared a special bond with Chicago and the Chicagoland area.  

Michael Schenker and the boys turned up in great spirits to a sold out show that was nothing short of the most fun night to be had in a while.

It’s been a quite a while since Michael Schenker and his band of metal merchants played a support slot here in the Chicago-land area but I guess filling in the “special guest” slot on the Scorpions farewell tour was too good to pass up.  

While MSG has hit Portland frequently, this time they were in a larger venue.

I reviewed the DVD of this in the last issue of Music Street Journal.

First off, I have to admit that I was one American who had probably never heard anything from Europe other than “Final Countdown.”

I have to admit that I was shocked when I heard that the Scorpions were going to do a farewell tour. 

I know that for many people the post Uli Jon Roth era of Scorpions is the best. Personally, I've always preferred the earlier stuff.

What an interesting ride I’ve had leading into this album.

Paul Raymond is one of rock and roll's great unsung talents.

I suppose how you feel about this book has a lot to do with how seriously you take it.

Let me start by saying that I really like this DVD.  I had this back in the day when it was available on VHS,  but it is always better to have the crystal clear picture of a DVD.
