The new issue is available in both paperback and hardcover edition at lulu.com/strangesound. There are a few changes this time around that require a little explanation. A month ago Lulu (where we publish our books) did a site rebuild and that means some changes. Let me address each of them individually.
Discounts:
In the past they allowed creators to discount the books (set a percentage off). That allowed the books to sell for less at the Lulu store than at places like Amazon. I always felt that was a good thing because in order to sell at Amazon and other places the prices need to be set much higher than need be. Well, with the upgrade they have removed the ability to discount books. That is apparently permanent, but I've asked them to reconsider that decision.
Lulu Store:
For years, the address for the Music Street Journal (and Gary Hill and Tales of Wonder and Dread) storefront on Lulu was lulu.com/strangesound. Well, they have now changed it to Lulu.com/spotlight/strangesound. Since there are literally thousands of URLs for me to try to get changed around the internet, and since it means all the physical promotional product I have is now obsolete and worthless, I've asked them if they can get the other one working again, but they said that it's not possible. I've updated the links for this issue, but I am considering building a separate website specifically for the purpose of hosting the individual book links, but there is no ETA on that. In the meantime, Lulu.com/spotlight/strangesound will suffice.

You can view the online version of the new issue at musicstreetjournal.com. All our archives are also available there. While the book versions are considered the definitive versions of the content, the articles at the website are essentially the web version of our book articles. Each entity has things that are exclusive to that edition (web and print), though.
The website exclusively features banner ads. The members' area is also exclusive to the site. While pictures and articles are in color at musicstreetjournal.com, they are in black and white in the book version. The concert galleries, audio interviews and more in that members' area are exclusively available on the web version of Music Street Journal.
Starting last year, the book editions (paperback and hardcover) include print exclusive articles. As mentioned earlier, this issue includes one.
This year Music Street Journal launched a new feature, too. Two videos released on the Music Street Journal YouTube channel provide additional content for two of the reviews in the issue. The intent with those (and going forward) is to provide a means to properly showcase elements that aren't easily conveyed in print. Going forward there will be more such videos, along with some exclusive videos for items (for instance music merchandise) that really can't be captured well in print. The MSJ YouTube channel lives at: youtube.com/channel/UCTqqxpTmgMcm-lTIVqNCeyA.
Stop by musicstreetjournal.com and check out all the internet based content. Memberships start at just six bucks for one month. You can always find all the book versions at lulu.com/strangesound.
Also, you can get clothing, drink-ware and much more with MSJ Logos and other cool things printed on them. Go to https://www.cafepress.com/MusicStreetJournal. You'll not only find MSJ products there, but also "Strange Sound of Cthulhu," "Poetry of the Air" and "Strange Realities" products and some products with Gary Hill's photography on it.
